After the successful introduction of the Synchron Classic OG Pack, Karhu looks to the second chapter and continues the celebration of its 100th year. Building the model’s momentum, Karhu releases the Synchron Classic, the Second Chapter Pack. Three fresh colorways for summer are brought to market with this shoe drop.
The Synchron Classic features a new compression molded EVA midsole, which is current in most modern running shoes. The dual density construction remains true to the original version from the early 1990s. The upper materials have been improved to premium pigskin suede from synthetic overlays, but the mesh appearance remains original to the era.
To modernize the silhouette, Karhu incorporates the Air Cushion technology, both visible and functional in the outsole. Most importantly, Karhu keeps the unique Synchron lacing construction, which served as a way to tighten the forefoot upon repeated use.
To support the release of the Synchron Classic, Karhu produced a video featuring Dutch retailers Patta, 290 Square Meters and Smith-Cruyff. These dealers remember the Synchron being a legendary model that offered premium comfort and superior performance.
As part of the Second Chapter Pack, the Synchron Classic Navy (F802514), Synchron Classic Cactus/Light Grey (F802513) and Synchron Classic Light Grey/Caribbean (F802515) will see its global release on Friday, June 10th, 2016.
