MARKKU ALEN

The most famous Team Karhu Rally driver is Markku Alen, born in february 1951. He is one of the most successful rally drivers of all time. In the 70's he won 20 rounds of the World Rally Championship, including six victories in his home event, Finland's Rally of 1000 Lakes. Despite all his victories, Alen never won the official World Rally Championship, but in 1978 he was the FIA Driver's Cup Champion.
