"On the shoe front, there are more lightweight training shoes showing up on specialty running shoes shelves this summer. Nike Free is your market leader in this category. Saucony and New Balance are making in-roads with their reduced heel and lightweight models. One new lower-heeled lightweight trainer recently caught my eye: the Karhu Flow. It had a heel that is even with the mid and forefoot and it did not have any extra weight with motion or stability control materials. The other thing that grabs you about the Karhus: the vibrant colors. The Mens’ Flow looks like they were custom made for VA TECH University."
