Helsinki Sport Logo
This Karhu logo was heavily used in the early 70s on the Trampas series. It featured one of many different bear designs and proudly calls out the brand’s founding city.
Air Cushion Logo
Karhu developed the first patented “Air Cushion” midsole system (1976) for its running shoes. In the early 90s, Karhu modernized the logo to fit the era.
Fulcrum Logo
In the 80s, Karhu partnered with the University of Jyvaskyla and developed the “Fulcrum” technology, which is still used in the Performance running collection.
Albatross / Team College
The Karhu Albatross, first released in 1982, quickly became a popular running model. The double soaring birds were first widely seen in a television advertisement.
